Thomas Gorny - CEO

Thomas is a successful self-made entrepreneur and industry leader with an outstanding 15-year track record of investing in, building and leading high-performing high-tech and Internet companies.

Thomas leads Unitedweb to become the backbone of next generation, Internet and cloud-based technology companies. His passion for innovation and amazing service drives his and the company’s vision of simplifying small business operations through increased efficiency, productivity and reliability of the services and tools they rely on every day. Thomas’s approach to building companies is to develop an entrepreneurial culture supported by a sound strategy, execution and operational discipline. Thomas pairs his investing and operational skills to help emerging companies maximize strategic, operational and financial value.

Thomas was born in Poland and started his entrepreneurial career by founding Trendsetter, a personal computer distribution company in Krefeld, Germany. He followed that with Internet Communications, which he helped grow to 40,000 customers and shepherd through a successful acquisition. Thomas tested and learned a great deal through the Internet bubble as an investor and then returned to building businesses for profitable growth. He founded IPOWER in 2001 and served as Chief Executive Officer for 7 years, growing the company to the 2nd largest website hosting provider in United States with over one million customers under management. In 2007 Thomas orchestrated a merger between IPOWER and a smaller competitor Endurance International Group. He was instrumental in growing the company during the following three years to reach two million customers through organic and acquisition growth. The combined company was valued in a private transaction in excess of $1 billion in 2011. He continues to be a major shareholder and a board member of the business along with Warburg Pincus, Goldman Sachs and Accel KKR.

Tracy Conrad - President

Tracy is President and co-founder of Unitedweb, where he leads Unitedweb Agency - the marketing services division of Unitedweb. Tracy and the Unitedweb Agency team serve as executive and marketing advisors to all members in the Unitedweb family of companies.

In 2001, Tracy co-founded IPOWER. As Executive Vice President and head of marketing, Tracy was instrumental in building a customer base more than one million strong and establishing IPOWER as the second largest web hosting company in the U.S. He also created and managed one of the most successful cross-selling sales organizations in the industry.

Tracy began his entrepreneurial career in 1991 when he founded Conrad and Associates, a data aggregator. He entered the Internet arena in 1995 when he founded the Blitz Network, a web advertising agency that was subsequently acquired.

Colleen Fritz - Chief Financial Officer

Colleen joined the company in 2005 as VP Operations and later CFO for IPOWER. She currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of all Unitedweb companies. Colleen is responsible for the financial leadership of the business and assisting the team with strategy, vision and execution. She also manages the company’s legal and regulatory compliance, financial operations and accounting.

Colleen has 20+ years of financial and operations management experience in both public and private companies. Her background includes financial management roles with Coopers & Lybrand and a private $20 million office products distribution company that was later acquired by Corporate Express. Colleen then assumed responsibility for the multi-national public company’s $120 million location.

Colleen has previously served as Controller and VP of Finance and Operations. She holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Tom Serani - Executive Vice President, Business Development

Tom joined Unitedweb in 2012 as Executive Vice President of Business Development. In this role, Tom is responsible for developing and maintaining channel partnerships with web hosting providers and leaders in other key growth markets.

Tom is an online technology and website security industry veteran with 20 years of business development and sales management experience. His track record is built on driving multi-million dollar growth and global expansion at established and startup technology companies, including GeoTrust, VeriSign, RatePoint, EMC and most recently, CoreSecurity.

Tom has also served on multiple advisory boards for cloud-based technology and online security related companies.

Tom holds a degree in communications from the University of Massachusetts.

Jason Parr - Director, Sales

Jason joined Unitedweb in 2010 as Director of Sales after serving in the same role for IPOWER from 2007-2010. While there, Jason contributed significantly to the sales team development and revenue growth. In his current role, Jason leads the customer acquisition portion of each member of the Unitedweb portfolio of companies that currently encompass more than 50 business consultants as well as training and development.

Jason brings a wealth of hands-on management experience; over his 20-year career assisting multiple organizations in growing from small businesses to multi-million dollar leaders in their respective industries. Jason cultivates structure within the organization in the form of order process, quality monitoring, product packaging, call scripting, and call flow and lead management – all built on a strong goal-driven foundation.

Jason has previously held director positions in the financial services industry.

Mary Miller - Director, Marketing

Mary joined Unitedweb in 2012 as Director of Marketing to manage company positioning, branding and integrated communications as well as lead development programs for the parent organization and its member companies. In this role, Mary is responsible for customer acquisition through engaging interactive experiences as well as the internal sales and marketing alignment required to propel each member of the Unitedweb family to leadership positions in their respective markets.

Prior to Unitedweb, Mary has been in marketing management and product marketing with B2B companies for more than 15 years. Most recently, she was the Global Director of Marketing for the marketing services division of Reed Business Information. Previously, she held marketing positions in the information technology and financial services industries.

Mary holds a BA in Marketing Management and Business Administration from Aurora University.

Melinda Morales - Director, Human Resources

Melinda joined Unitedweb in 2011 as Director of Human Resources to manage employee recruiting and ongoing development. In this role, she is responsible for facilitating employee onboarding, training and benefit programs. Melinda is a process-driven HR professional who has implemented company policies and procedures from the ground up at Unitedweb and for each of its respective companies as they reach new stages of growth and development.

Before joining Unitedweb, Melinda spent more than 12 years in HR roles in the healthcare, construction and information technology industries. Her most recent position prior to Unitedweb was Director, Human Resources at Hacienda Healthcare.

Melinda holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and BSBM in Business Management, both from the University of Phoenix.
